How to measure your dog correctly?
1 (Green) Neck Circumference: Measure tightly around the neck where the collar usually sits. ATTENTION! The neck circumference (1) is NOT the same as the neck strap (2).
2 (Mint) Neck Strap: Measure from the top of the breastbone, over the shoulder blades, and back to the starting point (breastbone). ATTENTION! The neck strap (2) is NOT the same as the neck circumference (1).
3 (Yellow) Chest Strap (Length): Measure from the tip of the breastbone (the starting point of the neck strap) to approximately 4–5 finger-widths behind the front legs.
4 (Purple) Back Strap: Start between the shoulder blades (where it meets the line of the neck strap at the last cervical vertebra) and measure down to the chest circumference (5).
5 (Orange) Chest Circumference: Measure once around the chest/belly, starting approximately 4–5 finger-widths behind the front legs (the end point of the chest strap).
